A Celebration of Hula Kiʻi
**Honolulu Premier**
Hālau Ka Ua Tuahine will present two performances of the critically endangered form of dance known as hula kiʻi in 2024. The first one will be at the Tenney Theater in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi on July 20-21, and again in the Bay Area later this year. Both performances will be in partnership with Kumu Maile Loo of the Hula Preservation Society, Kumu Mauliola Cook of Kauaʻi, and Kumu ʻAuliʻi of Hālau o Kahiwahiwa. The Honolulu performance will be supported in part by the Hawaiʻi State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.
